James Erwin Wilson, age 64, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 18, 2021. He was born August 30, 1957 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to James Riley Wilson and Ruby Fisher Wilson. Mr. Wilson enjoyed woodworking and won first place at the Phillip's County Fair in 2021 for his handmade wishing well. He also enjoyed helping out at the local Humane Society of the Delta.

He is survived by his sister, Teresa Kay Wilson; two aunts, Beverly Harris of Forrest City and Mazie Ballard of Hickory Ridge; one uncle, Harold Wilson of Greenfield, MO; host of cousins, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Riley and Ruby.

A funeral service for Mr. Erwin Wilson, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Roller-Citizens Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Chapel as well. Burial to follow to Sunset Memorial Park. Brother Bobby Baker will officiate.

Pallbearers are Tommy Amos, Bobby Carey, Bill Coad, and Rick Ward.

Honorary pallbearers are Scott Henson, David Lawson, James Roberts, Rick Schaffhauser, and Bill Thomas.
