Peggy McClurg, 65, of Gill, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Forrest City, Arkansas. She was born Saturday, October 15, 1955 to the late Vernon Jackson and Mary Louise Myers Jackson.
She is survived by her husband, Rickey McClurg, of the home, one son, Kevin McClurg, of Gill, Arkansas, one daughter, Cathy Helton ( Rome), of Wynne, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Reagan Blansett (Caleb), Makenzie Helton (John Loyd Minton), Nevin Helton, and Lynlee Helton, all of Wynne, Arkansas, two brothers, Roy Jackson (Debbie) of Forrest City, Arkansas, Robert Jackson, of Palestine, Arkansas, three sisters, Ann Mansel, of Forrest City, Arkansas, Glenda Anderson (Tony), of Perry, Arkansas, Bea Jackson, of Forrest City, Arkansas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Arthur ''Butch'' Jackson, and Milton Jackson.
She loved gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, fishing and canning.
Pallbearers will be Reagan Blansett, Caleb Blansett, Makenzie Helton, John Minton, Nevin Helton, Lynlee Helton, and Matthew Heath.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Midway Baptist Church in Palestine, Arkansas with Brother Gary Bryant officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
