Judy Ann (Hawkins) Knox, 78, of Halls, Tennessee passed away May 13, 2021.

She was born February 20, 1943, in Kennett, Missouri to James and Viola (Young) Hawkins.

Judy had a strong Pentecostal faith in God. She enjoyed spending time and experiencing life with her soulmate, Gaylon. She was a very generous person who loved writing poetry and sharing her blessings with everyone she met. Judy was a prolific writer of religious poetry.

She was honored by having one of her poems chosen to be etched on a glass at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. Additionally, she wrote and published three books, Fishing with the Master, Faith Ungrounded, and Praise from the Shadows.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gaylon Knox; brother, Bernard Hawkins; and one sister, Clara Burton.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. Rodney Knox and his wife, Mignon of Frisco, Texas, and James Knox of Halls, Tennessee; two brothers, Bill Hawkins of Senath, Missouri, and Danny Hawkins and his wife, Lavonia of St. Charles, Missouri; one grandchild, Brittney Michelle Fox,
as well as two great-granddaughters, several nieces, nephews, multiple cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
