Roberta Essex Melkovitz,73, went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born November 19,1947 in Fort Worth, Texas to Gerald W Hoppe, Sr and Gwendolyn P. McComb.
Roberta was of the Baptist Faith and was employed at Stuttgart Memorial Hospital now Baptist Medical Center. She was over accounts receivable for Terminal Truck Brokers for over 20 years, she worked for Terminix several years and owned and operated Our Place Restaurant in Stuttgart, Arkansas and a substitute teacher for the Stuttgart School System.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Steve Melkovitz, her brother Gerald Walter Hoppe, Jr., along with her maternal grandparents and her paternal grandparents.
Survivors are one son, Jeff Rogers (Paige) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; two daughters, Kim Lock (Bobby) of Humphrey, Arkansas and Ashley Schrunk (Rick) of Cabot, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Tyler Lock (Priscilla Beers), Christopher Lock (Rebecca Bazzle) all of Humphrey, Arkansas, Jason Schrunk of Cabot, Arkansas and Erika Schrunk of Nashville, Tennessee, Kayla Roberts (Christian) and Hannah Rogers of Mt, Juliet, Tennessee; six great grandchildren, Harper Elaine Lock and Willow Rose Lock of Humphrey, Arkansas, Elizabeth Mae Lock of Conway, Arkansas, Sawyer Roberts and Evie Roberts of Mt, Juliet, Tennessee and a bonus great grandchild, Triten Ewry of Humphrey, Arkansas; and one sister in law, Jeannette Hoppe of Fairview, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Roller England Funeral Home Chapel with visitation Tuesday, January, 26, 2021 from 5:00 -7:00 also at Roller England Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
