Christopher Blaine Jarman, 50, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born October 4, 1970 to Sheila Ann Jarman, in Memphis, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sheila Jarman; grandmother, Mary Eunice Jarman and lifelong friend and cousin, Brandon Garrott.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his aunt, Katie B. Harrison; uncle, Woody Black; and numerous cousins
Chris grew up in West Memphis where he graduated from his beloved West Memphis High School ''Home of the Blue Devils''. Chris became a Memphis radio icon as part of the ''Drake and Zeke'' show and recently as a co-host of the ''Danni and The Jar'' morning show on 98.1 F.M. Chris had an enormous heart and adored his friends, family and many fans.
He will lie in state Monday, December 21, 2020 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 201 N Pine Street, West Memphis, Arkansas, from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Friends will be able to say goodbye with his classic rock recordings playing near his casket, or leave notes for his family in his guest book as well as enjoying memorabilia on display while his memorial DVD will be showing many of his classic photographs.
Memorial contributions may be sent either one of two places near to Chris' heart -The Ronald McDonald House or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the local Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet is recommended for all visitation attendees and all are required to wear masks.
