Mary Mulkey Maxwell, 98, of Osceola went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at SMC Regional Medical Center in Osceola, Ark. She was born on Sunday, October 15, 1922, in Huttig, Ark. to the late Forrest Winnfield Mulkey, Sr. and Alliene Smith Mulkey. After graduating, she moved to Shreveport, La., where she met and married the love of her life and husband of 63 years, the late James ''Dandy'' Monroe Maxwell. They made their home in Osceola, Ark., where she worked many years as secretary to the Superintendent of the Osceola School District. She was a devout member of the First United Methodist Church and oldest living member at the time of her death. All that knew Mimi knew how much she loved her family and how they loved her. Mimi and Dandy considered it a blessing to be grandparents to their grandchildren, great-grandchildren and to so many more. She was preceded in death by her husband J.
