Mary Judith Thurman, 82, of Keo, Arkansas went to be with the Lord August 5, 2020. She was born March 7, 1938 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Atticus Cobb and Elizabeth Shewmake Cobb.

She was a member of Keo United Methodist Church and served on numerous committees. She was a graduate of the University of Mississippi and worked thirty-eight years at England Academy and the England High School. She loved gardening and horses.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by 1 brother: Jock Cobb of Little Rock, Arkansas; her son: Greg Thurman (Nita) of Hensley, Arkansas; daughter: Elizabeth "Liz" Edwards (Max) of Houlka, Mississippi; 3 grandchildren: John Max Edwards (Ali) of Oxford, Mississippi; Kailey and Seth Thurman both of Hensley, Arkansas; and 1 great-grandchild: Rory Edwards of Oxford, Mississippi.

Graveside services for Judy will be Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 1:00 P. M. at Keo Cemetery. Officiating will be by Rev. Diane Hughes. There will be no visitation.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
