Mary Ethel Cody, 81, of Memphis, TN, passed away February 25, 2020.

She was born on December 19, 1938, in Big Creek, MS, to Allen and Birdie Coggins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers, Jimmy Austin and Bill Coggins; and her sister, Joyce Lees.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her love of her life and long-term companion for almost 20 years, Billy Berry; her son, David R. Perkins, of Horn Lake, MS; her daughter, Anita Lynn Stine, of Memphis, TN; her three grandchildren, Walter P. ''Scooter'' Stine (Krystal), Cody Lynn Lambert (Phillip), and Starla Turcotte (Kyle); her seven great grandchildren: Bruce, Marshall, Tori, Hailie, Nathan, Paris, and Bishop; and her beloved dog, Valley.

Mary was a talented seamstress at Nancy's Draperies for over 10 years, and enjoyed being a Nanny for the Zoccola family for over 15 years.

The immediate family will receive extended family and friends for visitation at Roller Family Funeral Home, 3651 Austin Peay, Memphis, TN, on Monday, March 2, 2020, Noon to 1:00 PM.

Graveside service will be held at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN.
