James Alvin Raby

James Alvin Raby, 94, of Brighton, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at MediLodge in Howell. He was born September 23, 1923 in Mt. View to the late William and Mary (Childers) Raby. On March 22, 1947 he married Wanda Pippenger. Mr. Raby was in the United States Army serving during WWII. He loved playing music, guitar and fishing. He retired from General Motors.
Mr. Raby was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Raby; daughter, Margaret Baillie; 6 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include daughters, Nancy Arndt and Sharon Tetreau; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11:30 AM at the Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, Jonesboro. Burial be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Weiner.
Visitation will be from 10:30 until time of service.
