Julia Iola Roy, 87, passed away on March 26, 2017. Born February 23, 1930 by parents Oscar Pennington and Ruby Edna Pennington. Survivors are daughter; Connie (Ray) Parra of Arlington, Tennessee, granddaughter; Julie (Jamie) Barnum of Cordova, Tennessee, great-grandson; Tristan Barnum. Special thanks to her care givers; Mary Beamon, Sprelisa Garrett, and Tatayanna Garrett.
Julia Roy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Desmond Roy, sister; Bonnie Sue Baker, and brothers; Bob Pennington and John Kelly Pennington.
Graveside Service will be Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas, 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to American Heart Association or the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
