December 19, 1933 - February 12, 2017

​Ronald Otis Day, 83, of Memphis, TN passed away on February 12, 2017. Originally from Gloucester Mass, he was born December 19, 1933 to Russell and Edith Day. He came to Memphis in 1956 after serving in the Air Force in Korea. He was Vice President of Security Title Company, and retired in 1997. Ron was a member of Bartlett United Methodist Church, taught a Healing Hearts & Grief recovery seminar at Frayser Senior Citizens Center of which he was also a member. He also had memberships at The Lewis Senior center and a active volunteer for Adventa Hospice for the last years. Ronald is survived by his wife Mary P. Day, his son Dr. Russell P. Day of Chicago ; one grandson Trent Day; and one Granddaughter Marena Day; one step-son David Thorton.
Family will receive friends from noon until service time at 1:00 PM at Bartlett United Methodist Church on February 17, 2017. Committal will take place at Elmwood Cemetery.
