Rikki Dewan Goree, 37, of Weiner, passed away Friday in her home. She was born January 6, 1978 in Memphis, Tennessee to Rickey Courtney and Bernice Dixon Courtney. She was a homemaker, a 1997 graduate of Weiner High School and of the Baptist belief.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Brandon Goree; one son, Rikki Austin Goree; the parents who raised her, Delmar and Florence Courtney; and her grandparents.

Survivors include one son, Noah Gabriel Heath Goree of the home; one daughter, Danielle Bernice Goree, of the home; an aunt, Myra Walker of Rector and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a memorial service Wednesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner at 2:00pm with Bro. Jeff Junyor officiating.

Visitation precedes the service from 1:00pm 2:00pm at the funeral home.
