DAVID EUGENE CRAIG was born February 26, 1949, Cape Girardeau, MO. He died March 17, 2014, Memphis, TN, after a lifetime of overcoming physical challenges with diabetes and renal failure.

Survivors include: son, Bradley Eugene (Elizabeth) Craig; granddaughter, Sabrina Charlotte Craig, Seattle, WA; sister, Mary Ann Franklin, Bartlett, TN; two brothers, Robert Clyde (Margaret) Craig, Holly Springs, MS and Richard Lowell Craig, Jackson, TN; special friend/caregiver, Olga Bueno, Memphis, TN; two nephews, Brian G. Franklin, Hutschenhausen, Germany and Thomas Bagby, Oxford, MS; two nieces, Lisa Ann Franklin (Ron) Castleman, Flowery Branch, GA, and Sharon Lee Franklin (Lonny) Baker, Kaiserslautern, Germany and five great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James ''Clyde'' and Ruth Black Craig, Portageville, MO, and a niece, Wendy Kay Franklin Hungelmann, Cape Coral, FL.

Family members will greet friends and family from 10:30-11 a.m. and Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 31, New Life Chapel, Raleigh Assembly of God, 3683 Austin Peay Highway, Memphis, TN.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends and family members donate to the Kidney Foundation, Diabetes Foundation, Manna Ministries (outreach of Raleigh Assembly), a charity of their choice or simply do a random act of kindness in his honor
