Morris A. Crenshaw, Jr. age 83, died Monday, May 7, 2012 in Memphis, TN.

He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and a lifetime member of ''Acre'', The Association of City Retired Employees. He retired from the Memphis Police Dept. after 36 years, was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police for 30 years serving as president for several of those years. He was also a member of Tennessee Law Enforcement Officers Association and Tennessee and Mississippi Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association.

Mr. Crenshaw is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sherry Crenshaw, daughter, Claire Boyce of Florida; sons, Morris A. Crenshaw, III, of Jackson, TN, Mark Allen Crenshaw, of Phoeniz, AZ,; one grandchild, a sister, Ethel Blainas and nephew Chris Blainas of Memphis.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm on Thursday, May 10, at Roller Family Funeral Home with an 11 am graveside Friday, May 11, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
