Harry Elwood Worden II, 72, of Weiner, passed from this life on Friday November 26, 2010 at his home. He was born September 19, 1938 in Weiner to Hugh Elwood and Esther Stenson Worden. Harry was a retired military officer serving three years with the Marines, two years in the Army and 16 years with the Air Force. He was a member of the Weiner United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley Ann Worden; a son, Harry ''Woody'' Worden III of Weiner; two daughters, Bridgette Ann Martin and Rhonda Tankersley both of Russellville; three step-sons, Adam Clark and Aubrey Clark of Cherry Valley, and Billy Joe Clark of Batesville; a step-daughter, Amy Fonseca of Virginia; five grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Homer Don Worden of Hickory Ridge.
Visitation will be 5-8 Saturday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner.
Graveside services and burial will be 1 pm Sunday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Weiner with Conway Safirt officiating.
The military will serve as pallbearers.
Lasting memorials can be made to the Weiner Fire Department.
