Mr. Robert D. (Bob) Fouts, age 73 of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2008 at Baxter Regional Medical Center.

Visitation for Mr. Fouts will be Noon 9 PM Monday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. David Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Mike Fouts, Randy Fouts, Steve Fouts, Kenneth Smith, Dave Almond and Avron Steele. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Fouts, Dale Tipton, Rex McGuire, Norman Martin, Jr., Carl Weaver, Dene Baker and Gary Skiver.

He was born March 15, 1935, in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Hillary "Pat" and Myrtle Talburt Fouts. He graduated from Mountain Home High School and married Cleo Hamilton in 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri. He served his country in the Army 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina from 1958 to March, 1960.

Bob worked for 40 years in North and South Carolina as a sales manager for selling homes and real estate. He retired as Executive Vice-President of Sales and continued in real estate after returning to Mountain Home. A member of First Baptist Church, he enjoyed fishing, traveling and visiting with friends and old acquaintances, World War II books and movies. Many people will miss his great personality and kindness.

Survivors are his wife, Cleo Fouts: of the home; a sister: Annis Fouts: Mountain Home; a brother: Jim (Noeleen) Fouts: Mountain Home; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or a favorite charity.
