Donald Joseph Baumgartner 73, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2007. He was born in Valley City, ND. And was one of twelve children of Joseph and Rose Marie (Thilmony) Baumgartner.

He was preceded in death by his parents and older sister Joan Groth. Survivors include his wife Martha A. Baumgartner; daughters Debra Schmidt of Chicago, IL.; Donna Tuggle of Greenbrier, AR.; Beth Utterback of Omaha, NE.; son Jerry J. Baumgartner of Conway, AR.; step-daughter Vicki Stroud-Womble of Sherwood, AR.; step-son Steven C. Harris of Round Rock, TX.; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; seven brothers and sisters.

He attended the First Presbyterian Church of Greers Ferry, AR. Don worked for Union Pacific Railroad as an electrical supervisor at Jenks Shop in North Little Rock, AR. and retired after 34 years of service.

For all those who love and miss him, please remember the passage from the book of John, Chapter 14 verse 1 wherein it states, in part, ''Do not let your hearts be troubled, trust in the Lord.''
