Mary Wetzel, 88, of Blytheville, Arkansas, formally of West Helena, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010. She was born to Robert Todd Strauss and Anna Lou Lou Coulter on May 16, 1921 in Orrville, Ohio.

Mrs. Wetzel is survived by 2 sons, Robert Thomas Wetzel, Jr. and wife Linda of Little Rock, and Todd H. Wetzel and wife Susan of Russellville; 2 daughters Elizabeth Ann Kelly of Springdale and Pat Gowen and husband Glen of Florence Kentucky; 9 grandchildren, Trisha Massey, Jeff Gowen, Michael Wetzel, Heather Fox, Jennifer Kelley, Phillip Todd Wetzel, Trey Wetzel, Nathalie Wetzel and Chase Wetzel; 13 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Ramona Strauss of Hartville, Ohio.

Mrs. Wetzel was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 58 years, Robert ''Bob'' Wetzel; brother Bob Strauss.

Mrs. Wetzel held a Master in Music from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
She was a homemaker and taught Private Music lessons in her home.

A Memorial will be held Friday, March 19, 2010 at 1:30 P. M. at First Presbyterian Church in Helena. Private burial before services. Roller-Citizens (870) 572-2571 has charge of services.
