It was our great pleasure to have knows Skeet. He was always in a great mood and the room seemed to get brighter when he entered. He had a unique wit and sense of humor I always enjoyed. My biggest association with Skeet was the fire department and the fish fries. Clay Whaley and I talk frequently and Skeet seems to always come up. We have thought of him fondly many times in the 37 years we have been away from West Helena.
Skeet will always be missed and always with us.
Rose... So very sorry to hear about your loss. From all the things you told me about him, and from what I've learned about him, he was a very special man loved by so many. The thoughts and prayers of my family are with you and yours.
So very sorry, Rose and family. I know the deep sadness of your loss and pray for you all.
Dearest Skeet and family, have missed you for some 38+ years since I left West Helena to join the USAF. I have thought of you so many times over the years, thank you for being my friend. We shared our interests in music and firefighting for many years but never actually served together. May God bless your family and those that miss you. RIP Skeet from your buddy, Tommy Alsup

To the Seaton Family, I have known Skeet , his Mom , and his father for many years. Sending condolences to you all and praying you all find comfort in knowing skeet is playing now with hus mom and dad and watching over us all here. God bless you all!
Rose & Troy,
Throughout the thirty years we knew Skeet, he had the respect and admiration of everyone who came in contact with him. To few are granted so warm a personality and so fine an intelligence.
He lightened many a day with his emails and funny stuff. We will surely miss this part our lives.
Please accept our deepest and sincerest sympathy for you and the family in your bereavement..
To Rose, Troy & all the Seaton family. Our world is less bright knowing that the shining star known as Skeet Seaton is now shining bright in heaven. When we moved here 3 years ago Skeet was one of the first friends David made. The bond between these two was amazing from the get-go! The first time we went to a Live Wire gig.....we were hooked. As many have already said Skeet came over, pulled up a chair and made us feel like life long friends. The one thing about Skeet, when you became his friend...you KNEW you were his friend. It was almost as if you were now a part of the Seaton Family. As I have read through all the memorials the true Bright Light that was Skeet Seaton is shining down on all of us! Skeet your kindness & amazing sense of humor will be missed but we will all see you again! The Lord has called home an awesome drummer to play for the Heavenly Band!
Skeet was and still is a dear friend that can't be replaced my thoughts and prayers go out to the family

I am so sad about Skeet. My favorite memory is when we went to Marianna to have seafood... he blew that oyster all the way past the table. He will be missed by so many!
Skeet was a good man, always offering a helpong hand to so many. Blessings to his family.
My best memory of Skeet was seeing him at Kelly's when my mother was visiting. My mother had just finished her cancer treatments and had on a wig. I told mom, "This is my barber Skeet," and he took off his hat to show his bald head and joked about being a barber, My mother, not to be outdone lifted her wig up to show her bald head, and the look on his face was priceless! Blessings and peace, he is missed, Fr. Frank

Rose, Kim, Troy, and all famiy, this is one of the hardest condolences I have ever wrote for a friend. It may have been Livewire band, but I always said, "Skeet and them." I look at him and Rose as real friends, he always invited us, told us if for some reason we could not get in to tell them we were with the band, and made a place for us at the bands table. He was the same wherever we saw him. We will miss him dearly. Know he is walking on streets of gold, no pain, no sorrow, with a smile on his face for his family he loved so much. Rose you could just see his love for you in his eyes, and the pride for you Troy. I love you both dearly and if I can't do anything but listen or sit with you, please call me. Gwen 995-3111.
So sorry for y'all's loss he will be missed by many people

Rose, so sorry for your loss. Skeet was a great friend and mere words can't express my sorrow at his passing. We were in the boy scouts together, we played music together and he was the only friend that was able to attend mine and Debbie's wedding.
