So many good memories of a true gentleman. There are very few men in this world that you never hear a bad word about and you hear every body say that he was the best man they have ever met. Jimmy Horton was that. I was bless to have grown up around him. I have so many memories. From being 5 and him giving me a pearl ring that I found that no one ever claimed that I still have today to his singing in church. My memories are so many. He was a true blessing and know he is in his glory now!!
What a wonderful man I had the pleasure growing up around. I remember sitting with momma to see who was going to lead singing n I would lean over and say momma momma it's mr Horton n she would pat me on the knee and just smile. Lots of sweet memories.
Charlotte, So sorry for your loss. He has gained the reward he worked for. May God's love comfort & keep you.
Charlotte and Joe Jim,
My prayers are with you. Your daddy was a very special man and had a very special place in my heart. I am sorry for your loss, but so happy for his gain. He probably had more influence on me than any man other than my own daddy. I treasure my memories of him and am truly blessed for having known him. God bless you and comfort you.

A true gentleman personally and professionally.
Dear Charlotte & Joe Jim, just saw about your dad. I am sure that he and daddy are really having fun right now. They always had so much fun together. I remember so many times they were together. Jimmy had such a beautiful singing voice and I always loved when he would lead singing at church. I know you will miss him as much as I have missed daddy. Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with you both and the rest of the family. Love you all. Merry Lynn & Mike
