Eva M. Simpson, 90, born June 17, 1925 in Rural, Arkansas left us on November 27, 2015 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was a world traveler and she loved history. She enjoyed the company of her friends, especially, Ann Ball, Dorothy Romes, June Whyte, Barbara and Phyllis. She was like a mother to her three nieces, Vickie, Billie Fred (Freddie) and Kathy who loved her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ollie and Bob Hopper; sisters, Bobbie Frances, Micky, Donna, and Katherine; brothers, R. L., Lee, Fred Lyman, Dudley, Steve, and Harry; and brother-in-law Buddy Clark. Those left to treasure her memory are sisters; Pauline and Phyllis; cousins, Carthel and Ruby Jean and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Maumelle for many years.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December, 4, 2015 at the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72211, (501) 224-8300 with the Reverend Chris Larmoyeux officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Orion Cemetery in Redfield, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Maumelle, Saline Memorial Hospice, 23157 I-30 Frontage Rd, Bryant, Arkanas 72022.
