I met Curtis on Little Rock AFB at the Gym. Over the years He, I and Larry Lowe spent a lot of happy times in the Sana talking about our families, the Military and hunting and fishing. He was a friend and a brother-at-arms. Curtis will be missed by me and many other of his friends.

I remember Curtis, he was a year older in school & a friend of my brother, Mike. I played basketball with Fay, & Randy remembers Curtis & Zeke well. Those were the days in Clinton High...Curt was quite the football player and well loved by everyone. A special thank you for his service to America's military. Our love and condolences go out to all his family and friends at this sad time...you are in our prayers....

To the family , I have known Curtis since he was in high school and playing football for the Clinton Yellowjackets. When he graduated and went to the Navy we lost contact. We were reunited after he retired and moved to Memphis. He was working on the base where my sister was stationed and they ran across each other at the Commissary. Our friendship picked up where it left off. When he moved to Jacksonville he would come by and visit on his way to Clinton or on his way back. He spent many Sunday afternoons eating Sunday dinner at my house and attending family functions. He was always the perfect gentleman and would do anything that I asked him to do for me. He was also good about stopping by to check on my mother when he came through Conway. We are really going to miss him. The last time I saw him, he came to my retirement reception on 8/28/15 and spent time with my family.
I am still in shock but I am praying for his kids and grandkids, he loved his family. We may never understand why, but God is still in control. My prayer is that God will grant us all peace and comfort during this most difficult time. I will always
Love you Curtis!

Prayers for Curt's family and friends!

We are very saddened by the news of his passing! Curt grew up with James and they were life time friends but He was more like a brother to him.

Our family lived and thought a lot of him and he will be greatly missed.

May God give his family and friends comfort during this sad time.

So sorry for your loss. Curtis was a few years older than I, but I can remember all the football games and how he was an inspiration for all the younger players. May God Bless and keep all the family during this time of mourning and his Grace is sufficient for the days ahead.
