On behalf of the Singleton, Lawrence, Sanders, and Weis families (descendants of Candace Davis Singleton), we send our condolences to Vera's family. My sisters, Edith and Myrdith knew her in their teen years, and in later years she married our uncle Lewis Davis, Jr. I visited Vera a few times when I visited family in AR. She was always a gracious person who warmly welcomed me.
We are sorry for your loss.

We loved Vera, we will miss seeing her and it won't be the same not seeing her smiling face. If she ever had a bad day you never knew it. She could make you feel better just by seeing her. Then you sit and talk and you realize your day wasn't so bad anymore. She loved talking about past times. She loved unconditionally. We just happen to be the reciprocants of her greatest gift, her love.
