Everett R. Rainbolt, age 78, of Alpena, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. He was born January 18, 1937, in Snowball, Arkansas, the son of Damon and Ona (Wells) Rainbolt. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bryan Rainbolt.

Everett was a member of Osage Baptist Church. He married Elsie Mae Cavender September 6, 1955 in Gilbert, Arkansas. He worked over 43 years for Levi-Strauss as the cutting room manager. In his spare time, Everett loved hunting and fishing, painting landscapes, gardening and wood crafts, but his greatest love was singing and playing gospel music on the guitar and fiddle. His family was his life and he loved watching his great-grandkids play sports.

Everett is survived by his wife, Elsie Rainbolt, of the home; two daughters, Pam Underdown and husband Kenny of Osage and Kathy Looper of Harrison; a sister, Linda Kelly and husband Allen of Bergman; four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Monday, October 5, 2015, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service was Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Osage Baptist Church, with Bro. Lannie Younger and Bro. Derwin Martin officiating.

Interment was in the family cemetery.

Pallbearers were Chad Underdown, Richie Woodworth, David Lair, Drew Lair, Trevor Byerley and Phil Jones.

Honorary pallbearers were Devon Byerley, Aiden Underdown, and Dalton Lair.

Elsie and family: We were so sorry to hear of

Elsie, I was so sad to see this morning that Everett had passed away. I am so sorry. He was my cutting room manager at Levi's for many years and I considered him not only a great boss, but a good friend. His humor and compassion for others will be truly missed. He was a good man.
