Michael Lynn Dixon, age 61, of Beebe, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015. He was born March 23, 1954 in England, Arkansas to the late Ralph H. Dixon and Myrtle Itha Sory Dixon. Michael was a longtime member of New Hope Nazarene Church. He graduated from Metropolitan High School in 1972. He was retired from 3M Manufacturing Company. Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, loved anything that went fast, Harley Davidson motorcycles, family card night with his brothers and sisters and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harllen and Arvel Dixon and a nephew, Bobby Dale Lunsford.
Michael is survived by sons, Zackery Dixon (Jennifer) of Beebe; Joshua Dixon of Sheridan; four grandchildren, Zackery, Kayla, Connor and Caydence Dixon; four sisters, Alene Estell (Jack) of North Little Rock; Margarie Kelley of Sheridan; Brenda Akel of Sherwood; Elizabeth Brown (Larry) of Maumelle; four brothers, Leon Dixon of Little Rock; Charles Dixon (Geneva) of North Little Rock; R.H. Dixon (Betty) of Mabelvale and Carl Dixon of Little Rock.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2015 at New Hope Nazarene Church with Brother George Yarberry and Reverend Leon Dixon, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be James Dixon, Todd Stolzer, Blake Quast, Dust'n Lunsford, Mike Davis and Wayne Estell. Burial to follow at Olive Hill Cemetery, Mabelvale.
Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800.
We were sorry to see this about Mr Dixon. We enjoyed visiting with him when he walked his dog out in the yard. We will keep his family in our prayers. Zack we are just next door if we can help in any way. We didn't realize he was bad. Lloyd & Carol
