Raymond Edwin Fite, age 81, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015, at his residence. He was born April 24, 1934, in Harrison, to Kirby Vivian and Sylvia (Gibson) Fite.
Raymond was of the Baptist faith and retired from Boeing. He served honorably with the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He loved to travel to Alaska and all over the United States. He was happiest when traveling with family and friends. He married his second wife, Carol, in Green Forest October 28, 2011, and they enjoyed their time together moving from Harrison to Nixa.
Mr. Fite is survived by his wife Carol, of the home; three step-sons, Keith, Maynard, and Kent Robinson; and a step-daughter, Bonita Robinson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Bonnie Fite; and his brothers, Bobby and Richard Fite.
Visitation was Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Funeral service was Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dan Davis, Kenny Davis, and Keith Robinson.
