Diannie Winters Westbrook, age 65, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at her home. Ms. Westbrook was born March 23, 1950 at Little Texas, Mississippi to the late Aaron Winters and the late Mary Hardy Winters. Ms. Westbrook was a registered nurse who worked for Clarksdale Nursing Home.
She is survived by one son, William Redd (Crystal) of Helena; one daughter, Ellen Guynes (Bobby) of Lexa, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Madison McIntosh, Kathryn Adams, Preston Redd, Justin Redd and Zoe Guynes; one great-granddaughter, Alexia Byrd; one sister, Rose Edwards of Russellville, Arkansas; three brothers, Leroy Winters of Brinkley, Arkansas, Sammy Winters (Pat) of Imboden, Arkansas and Joey Winters (Melissa) of Dardanelle, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sally Winters; and one brother, Amos Winters.
A graveside service for Diannie Westbrook will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Brother Charles McKendree will officiate.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF DIANNIE. SHE WAS SUCH A CHARACTER AND A LOT OF FUN TO BE AROUND. I WILL MISS HER.
Ellen, so sorry to hear about Diane"s death. She was a sweet, caring nurse. And I enjoyed working with her at Helena Regional. May God wrap. his loving arms around you and comfort you at this sad time in your life.
