Maxine Johnson, 87, of Moro, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at Crestpark in Marianna, Arkansas. She was born Sunday, January 22, 1928 in Center, Arkansas to James Otis Hyslip and Lillie Lowella Denton Hyslip.
Maxine is survived by her husband; Vergil Johnson; two sons; Keith Johnson (Patsie), Larry Johnson (Debbie), one daughter; Sharon Parson (Frankie), seven grandchildren; seventeen great - grandchildren; one great- great great grandchildren; one sister; Pat Bunn, three brothers; Ronnie Hyslip, Donnie Hyslip, and Denny Hyslip.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters; Jerry Ingram and Bobbie Jean Jones.
Pallbearers are Greg Parson, Justin Parson, Josh Johnson, Steven Johnson, Dylan Smith and Jason Reynolds.
Services for Maxine will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Moro Baptist Church at 3:00 P.M. in Moro, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 1:00 3:00 P.M. at Moro Baptist Church. Roller Citizens Funeral Home, Marianna has charge of arrangements. Keith, Sharon and Larry, so sorry to hear of Aunt Maxine's passing. She was a sweetheart, and I know that her family will miss her greatly. I wish that I could be there for the funeral. I love you, all.
