Danny Lee Wilson, 75, of Holland passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015. He was born April 7, 1940, in Red Springs, North Carolina to the late Daniel and Louise Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Wilson and sister, Alice Davis.
Danny retired from Virco Manufacturing after many years of working in the maintenance department. He also was a veteran of the United States Army and Navy. Danny was a member of the Holland Volunteer Fire Department and the Faulkner County Emergency Squad. He enjoyed spending time with his family and shooting his guns. Danny never met a stranger especially when it came to ladies.
He is survived by his four daughters, Melissa Britton (Bobby) of Conway, Shawna Loftis (Gary) of Marshville, North Carolina, Dorsey Ledbetter of Winston Salem, North Carolina and Heather Kaufman-Sharp of Vancouver; grandchildren, Slayde Brown, Wesley Flowers, Melinda Loftis, Brooke Loftis, Jason Atkins, Bruce Atkins and Cheyenne Flowers; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Maines (Winston) and Ann Ashby (Jack) all of High Point, North Carolina; six nieces and nephews also many other loving family members and friends.
Memorial service will be 4:00 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Mr. Wilson's residence in Holland.

Dear Melissa and Shawna, so very sorry to hear of Danny's passing. He was my older cousin and I spent many days with him as a child in High Point. He was an early mentor and friend to me, and taught me many things that only an older brother or cousin can do. I will miss him and those memories.
