Charles Bullard Jr. 83, of Franklin, Arkansas, formerly of Southside, died Monday, May 18, 2015 at his home.
He was born Tuesday, July 14, 1931 in Desha, Arkansas, to Charles J. Bullard and Frona Webb Bullard.
Charles was the longtime owner-operator of Bullard Oil & Tire at Desha and the Triangle Café and
trailer park on top of Ramsey Mountain. He enjoyed buying, selling, trading and swapping. He also
enjoyed staying busy with the work of running his businesses. He was a member of the Desha Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Euna Mae Herron-Bullard of Franklin; a son, Johnny Bullard of Southside; three daughters, Louise Watson, Sue Inman, and Allene Lawson, all of Southside. He is also survived by two stepsons, Levarne Herron of Blytheville, AR and Frank Herron of Franklin. Other survivors include eleven grandchildren and four step grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren and one step great-great grandchild. Other survivors include several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Alviadene Hightower Bullard; one son, Charlie Monroe Bullard; two granddaughters, Jessica Winningham, and Jami Younger; three brothers, Herbert Bullard, Gene Bullard, and Clyde Bullard Sr.; and four sisters, Lois Hollis, Ruby Fletcher, Oma Harvey, and Christine Bullard.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Bullard, Andrew Bullard, Dillon Bullard, Clyde Bullard Jr., Frank Herron, and Brandon Duncan. Honorary pallbearers are Bailey Winningham, Larry Bullard, Donald Duncan, and Zach Roberson.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel with Berlen Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Charles was a honest, hard working individual and he would help any one that needed some assistance. You would be shocked to know how many guys he has given gas money too. He was one of the good ones.
