Words can't express the sadness I feel for you and yours. Since I learned of Tony's passing, memories have ran through my head from knowing him as a child, as well as memories of knowing Amy and Joe. Course, he was good friends with my brother Jeovany, as they were classmates. I just hung out when I was allowed too, LOL!.
I'm sorry I could not pay my respects in person but you all have been and will continue to be in my deepest thoughts, heart, and prayers. May God comfort you all during this very difficult time.
Sincerely,
Melida

Cissy, your family is in my thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you during this difficult time
I served with Tony in Iraq under less than desirable conditions and knew him to be steady and even keeled regardless of the challenge presented. We remained in occasional contact over the last few years and I know he and you struggled mightily through the ups and downs of his illness and can only hope that his passing provides all with some measure of peace. He will be missed, especially our running Tosh.0 text exchanges. Rest in peace, my Friend.
Your heart must be aching with such sorrow; and know that every tear you shed will be heard and felt by our lady in heaven with such a vibration of love as to move her to create a new star, which shall be called by your Son's name.
Be well and gentle with yourself dear Thornton Family and know also that my thought's are with you in these sad day's of your life.
Thank you, Anthony Wade Thornton for being my Shipmate and my true Friend! Now, rest easy in the arms of the Lord.
With love and condolences to you and your's.

Cissy, Quinn, Family and Friends: My deepest condolences and prayers! May God comfort and bless each of you! May Tony's memories keep a smile on your face and love, forever, in your hearts!
He's only gone on ahead of you,
Not just left you behind.
Although you can't be with him right now,
He lives on in your heart and mind.
The day will come when you'll meet again
On Heaven's distant shore,
And then you will walk hand in hand
Together, forever more.
Cissy and family. I'm so sorry for this terrible loss. I know how much you love all your children and it's just not fair for you to go thru this. Love you! Tonya
