Marissa Elizabeth Hammack, 52, of Searcy was born December 8, 1962 to John and Betty Pfauser in Stuttgart, Arkansas and went to be with her Lord on May 8, 2015 in Searcy, Arkansas.
She was a person of great faith and was deeply loved by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, the late John Pfauser.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James of the home, her mother, Betty Pfauser of Conway, Arkansas, three sons; Steven Joseph Shirley (Ashley) of Germany, Anthony Lee Shirley (Keilyn) of Springfield, Missouri, Brooks Toney of Little Rock, Arkansas, one daughter, Samantha JoAnn Shirley of Springfield, Missouri, one granddaughter, Lola Shirley, one brother, Rusty Pfauser of Las Vegas Nevada and many other relatives and friends.
There will be a memorial service in her honor at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy, Arkansas.

I am deeply saddened to learn of her passing. We were close cousins as youngsters (on my Dad's side), but unfortunately as we grew up and went our separate ways, we fell out of touch. Nevertheless, I will always cherish the fond childhood memories we shared together. May she always Rest In Peace, and may her family always be comforted in knowing she was a special person.
