MSGT (Ret) James A. ''Jim'' Schultz, USAF, age 84, of Sherwood, passed away, April 22, 2015. He was born July 28, 1930 in Little Rock to Hattie Drinkwater Schultz and James Statue Schultz. Jim attended Sylvan Hill First Baptist Church for many years and most recently attended HIS Church in Sherwood.
Jim retired on his sixtieth birthday after forty years, five months, and eight days of service to the United States Air Force. He was an airplane mechanic, serving in the Korean War and was awarded the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Services Medal.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one son, James Keith Schultz.
Jim leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of thirty four years, Wilma Williams Schultz; two daughters, Susan Schultz Johnson (John) of Bossier City, LA and Tammy Faulk Parchman (Carl) of Sherwood; three grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Alex Parchman Henson (Jeffery), and Michael Parchman; one sister, Lavonne Perry; and one brother, Donald R. Schultz (Mary Lee). Jim also leaves behind his Jack Russell Terrier, Tinkerbell and his adopted pup and sweet protector, Minnie Pearl.
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 2:00 4:00 p.m., at Roller Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72116 (501) 791-7400. Home Going service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at Levy United Methodist Church, 701 W 47th St, North Little Rock, AR 72118. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their deepest thanks to the Baptist Hospice staff for their compassionate care, and all of the caregivers through Seniors Serving Seniors, most especially, Kelly Minton, for the love and care she gave to our family.

Condolences to the Family. Jim was an outstanding crew chief, when I was scheduled to fly his aircraft, I would ask if it was ready to fly, he would reply "Yes Sir", so I would go directly to the cockpit and not do a follow up on what he checked in preparing for the flight.

Dear Wilma, as you know, Jim andI go back many, many years from Korea to our retirements from USAF and Air National Guard..I knew him as a co-worker and personal friend. I regret not visiting with him more often and I know that he will forgive me. I will miss him. Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. God bless.
