My aunt Cathy always made time to see me and to mentor me. I spent many a time in their home under her care. She was special in so many ways. Her faith that sustained her through many personal trials. She taught me to know the meaning of the Serenity Prayer.
You will be truly missed by the employees at Shoneys in West Memphis we loved u and will miss u dearly .. And to the family we would like to send our condolences.. Thank u
I will always remember Grandmother as being vivacious and full of energy. A a child, it felt like we were always on some sort of adventure, even when shopping and running errands. I remember going with her to volunteer at the "thrift shop" for Children's Orthopedic Hospital. I remember watching with fascination as she crocheted blanket after blanket while watching television. I am grateful for a lifetime of stories and memories that I will always hold close to my heart!
As a young naive woman, I had the privilege of knowing Cathy and observing the love and commitment she had for her husband and family. Her strength and faith throughout so many tragedies in her life are without measure. My deepest sympathies to all her loved ones.
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can change, and the wisdom to know the difference." If ever a person lived by the Serenity Prayer, it was you, my dear Aunt Cathy.
Rest in peace at last.
Diane
I have many wonderful memories of my Grandmother throughout my life that I will always look back on fondly and with love.
Jeannette, Jason and the entire family. I'm so sorry to hear of Aunt Cathys passing. She lived an amazing life and I loved hearing all of David's stories about his childhood with her. I know she appreciated all you did for her Jeannette. May God bring you all comfort during this time.
