Drs. Morgan & Church delivered my first child by C section in 1970. We left Arkansas in the Air Force but Dr. Church was my surgeon many years later. I had the opportunity to see Rita a couple of years ago before she passed away. What a wonderful medical team for the women of NLR. May he rest in peace.

My mother, Linda Gordon, worked for Dr.s Church and Morgan as a scrub tech, delivering babies. I remember how special they both were to mom. Between mom and these fine men, they influenced me greatly. I also have worked in the medical field in maternal child for the last 32 yrs. He was a great man and will be missed.

I worked at Memorial Hospital in 1973-74 on OB/GYN floor. What I remeber about Dr. Church is his sense of humor. He was kind and dedicated doctor.

When someone we love dies, it leaves a hole in our hearts. This sorrow was felt by Jesus, Mary and Martha when Lazarus their brother died. Jesus said to Martha: “I am the resurrection and the life, the one who exercises faith in me even though he dies, will come to life. Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Then he proceeded to resurrect Lazarus and he promises to resurrect all those in the memorial tombs. Please read John 5:28, 29 in your Bible and may this hope bring your family comfort.

I worked for Dr Church for almost 9 years, until he retired. I was blessed to have such a good boss. I've missed him every since we parted ways in the parking lot on Fendley Dr. But we will see each other again one day. My prayers are with the family.
