Michael Ray Bynum, 66 of Keota, Oklahoma, formerly of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in Keota. He was born on March 23, 1949 in Paris, Arkansas to his parents Wesley Holland and Cloria (Corley) Bynum. Michael was a welder at Tinker Air Force Base and Burgess Sheet Metal for many years before retiring. He was a Christian man and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. He especially enjoyed building things out of wood, fishing and traveling throughout the country.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Cloria Bynum; his first wife, Jimmie Lou Bynum; three brothers, Jimmie Wayne Bynum, Anthony Bynum and Ricky Bynum; two sisters, Holly Parsons and Shirley Klein.

He is survived by his son, Michael Bynum Jr. and his wife Pamela of Muskogee, Oklahoma; a daughter Melissa Bynum Kerr of Norman, Oklahoma; his companion of eight years, Judy Thompson of Keota, Oklahoma; four brothers, Bill and wife JoAnn Bynum of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Wesley and wife Frankie Bynum of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Lonnie Joe Bynum of Midwest City, Oklahoma and David Bynum of Fort Smith, Arkansas; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; his ex-wife, Denise Bynum of Tulsa, Oklahoma as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 P.M., on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 13, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery off Bollie Stafford Road in Magazine under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bynum, Jerry Downs, Gabe Stephens, Marlene Thompson, Bryce Prescott and Robert Athey

Thoughts and Prayers for the family. Worked many years at Burgess sheet metal with Mike.. There were times that we had some shocking experiences when installing a batch tank...He let me know how he felt about that..Sorry Mike... Welcome him home Lord..
