Uncle Willard was always a joy to be around. I have lots of childhood memories of when he and Aunt Wilma would come visit us. He will surely be missed.

It is a sad time for all the descendants of Luther Barlow and Elizabeth Jane "Dood" Layne Christian but especially for all of Uncle Willard's immediate family. As the last living child of Barlow and Dood he was looked on as an icon of the Christian family. He was looked up to by all of his nieces and nephews, down to the 2nd and 3rd generation . We loved him and will miss him dearly. May his wife, children and grandchildren be comforted in knowing he was loved and respected by so many.. May he rest in peace with his heavenly maker where we that live faithfully to God and follow his example have the hope of seeing him again come Judgement Day.
