Mae Brazear Thomas, age 93, of North Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on, Friday, March 6, 2015. She was born in Springfield, AR to the late Leonard Duncan and Mary Sebren Duncan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Julian Brazear the love of her life and her siblings.
She was a 40 plus year member of Levy Baptist Church and a dedicated Sunday School teacher. She was member of the Grey Ladies Auxiliary, Red Cross and Baptist Health Auxiliary. Mae was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her two sons; Jim Brazear (Barbara) of Tahlequah, OK and Gary Brazear (Jo) of North Little Rock, AR.;
Grandchildren, Matt Brazear of North Little Rock, Brooks Brazear of Sherwood, Lori Bowren (Eddie) of Beebe, Beth Nordholm of Broken Arrow, OK., Bridgitt Menz (Doug) of Norman, OK., Belinda Brazear of Tulsa, OK. She is also survived by seven great- grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service, 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5590 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72116, (501) 791-7400. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M., Tuesday at the funeral home.
Just wanted you guys to know my heart was with you during this long battle. Wish so much I could have come & supported you in person at the service. As you walk this new valley, I will lift you up to God for the comfort on He can give.
To the family I say I am so sorry for your loss! Ms Mae was a Special friend to me we sat together at church. Then as she moved to Robinson I had privilege of getting to be with her on a daily basis. We would always find each othrer I loved her and will miss her very much!!! She now sings with the Angels in Heaven! May God Bless you all and hold you in his hand!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. This has been a long battle and each of you should be very proud of love and care you provided over the years.
It's so hard to lose a loved one, especially a mother. Stay strong in God, He will get you through this time of saddness. Ms. Mae was a wonderful lady. God bless you all.
