Such a nice man. In all the years I've known him, I never walked away without a smile after talking with him. The world is running out of men like Loel.
Rest in Peace and may God welcome you home.
My grandparents were Ruth and Delight, and my dad is Gary. Thoughts and prayers to all of you. And all my love.
As the youngest daughter of Delight and Ruth King, Uncle Lo (as we called him) was a big part of my childhood, just as he was for Glenn, Gary, Helen and Tim. He was a big help to our family when we lived in Searcy County, during those very hard times, always patient and with an amazing sense of humor. He smile, his laugh, the unflagging twinkle in his eyes, even the way he always wore his cap, will be with me forever.
I'll miss you Loel!
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again...
We love you very much and you will be Greatly Missed...
I am so sorry to hear of Loel,'s passing. He was special to all who knew him.
We are so sorry to hear of Loel's passing. Our prayers are with you.
Now that I've come to the end of my journey and I traveled my last weary mile, just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only the smiles
Forget unkind words I have spoken and remember some good I have done, forget that I ever had a heartache and remember I've had some fun.
Forget that I stumbled and blundered and sometimes fell by the way remember I have fought some hard battles and won,ere the close of the day.
Then forget to grieve for my going I would not have you sad for a day, but in the summer just gather some flowers and remember the place where I lay
And come in the shade of the evening when the sun paints the sky in the west
Stand for a few moments beside me and remember only my best....
We Love you
