Enoch Nathaniel Wilson, 90, of Batesville died Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at his residence.
Born February 2, 1924, in Batesville, he was the son of Claude Nathaniel Wilson and Elmyrah Jane Bibb Wilson.
He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II and was patriotic. He retired from Southwestern Bell. He enjoyed his relationship with family and friends, watching sports and spending time outdoors with nature.
Survivors include two daughters, Gwendolyn Ruth Wilson of Dallas, Texas and Gail Lynn Brown of Greenwood, Arkansas; a brother, Harold Wilson, of Batesville; a sister, Elwanda Nash of Locust Grove; three grandchildren, Sarah Jane Brown, Casey Brown and Corey Brown; and two great-grandchildren, Merritt Brown and Katrina Houston.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 20 years, Frances Charlene Long Wilson; two brothers, Sidney Wilson and John Wilson; and three sisters, Mildred Johnson, Jo Alice McDannald and Tootsie McGaha.
The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Roller-Crouch Chapel in Batesville with Dennis Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Casey Brown, Corey Brown, John Richey, Ray Adcock, Charlie Wilson, William McGaha, Frank McGaha and Sonny Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers are Albert Wilson, David Helms, Kenny Turner, Thurston Wilson, Kenny Nash, Jefferson Johnson, and Brisden Slayden
Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2015, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.

Enoch leaves us with many good memories. He was such an easy going person who we all loved.
