Deepest sympathy to the family and neighbor, whne growing up. Rest in peace, dear cousin.
Horace Grant was a good brother and bother-in-law. We have had many adventures together, and over the years we . have enjoyed many long serious discussions which lead to changes in both our lives. On Christmas night we had our last conversation, we said our goodbyes on this earth and promised to see each other again in a little while. He was a talented musician and artist. We enjoyed visiting Mary and Grant in their home in Big Flat, AR., with our son, Martin and four of our grandchildren. We are looking forward to seeing Mary and Grant again when we all get Home.
So sad to hear about Grant's passing. May God bring comfort to his love ones.
I am so sorry to hear of Grant's passing; Condolences to his family. Grant and I were friends and workmates back in the sixties and early seventies, but lost touch with each other due job changes over the years. Rest in peace friend.
Grant and I grew up in Beautiful Wolffork Vally ! Some folks call it the garden spot of the earth.I believe it to be true ! We were the best of friends .We had so many good times during our days at R.G.N.S.,and our fellowship with friends an folks at Wolffork Baptist Church. His mother ( Mrs Alma ) was known as the best cook in the valley,I had many a fine meal with the Dickerson family.
I will sure miss Grant however,I look foward to seeing him when we all get to the new earth !!
God bless you Grant and have a happy homecoming.Tell all the folks Hello !!
Horace was a family friend and we stayed at his farm one summer and had an amazing time. Never had a visit anywhere else quite like that one in Big Flat since. What a wonderful man and family.
We met Horace and Mary when they were living in Taipei Taiwan in 1988. They shared the Christian love and music with us, and became like our family in Taiwan. Later when we came back to USA Horace made a beautiful cradle for our son Mark Jr, which we will also use for our grandchildren. We so enjoyed our visits with them in Big Flat and North Carolina. We love Horace, and we know he is in heaven now and we will see him again there. Prayers and blessings to all of his family and friends.
Uncle Grant was a wonderful Uncle and inspiration to me. He helped inspire me to go to college. I know how much he meant to Big Flat and the Church. My family will miss him very much. God Bless.
Wish all of us could be there for you. Know we love you and you will be missed!
