Cathy Jean Vickers, 44, of Pleasant Grove, Arkansas passed away on December 18, 2014 at Stone County Nursing Home in Mountain View, Arkansas. Cathy was born on October 4, 1970 to David and Colleen (Sanders) Long in Marshall, Arkansas. Cathy worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother.
Cathy is survived by her father, David Long and wife Lavon of Bradford, Arkansas; husband, James Lynn Vickers of Pleasant Grove, Arkansas; two daughters, Shontaye Rushton and husband Patrick of Mountain View, Arkansas, and Gabrielle Kaser and husband Donald of Pleasant Grove, Arkansas; one brother, Michael Long of Mountain View, Arkansas; one grandson, Niklause Smith of Pleasant Grove, Arkansas and another grandchild on the way; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cathy was preceded in death by her mother, Colleen Long.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 1-2PM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. A memorial service will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00PM also at Roller Coffman Chapel with Odell Goins officiating.
