Jesse "Jess" William Cooley 79, of Clinton, Arkansas passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014. He was born July 21, 1935 in Old Lexington Community, Clinton, Arkansas to Elmer and Ethel (Blair) Cooley.
Jesse was a welder in Indiana during 1957. He later moved back to Clinton, Arkansas in 1960 where he went to work at ConAgra from 1960 to 1995 when he retired. Jesse met Janie Simpkins on September 20, 1980 while working together. They married on May 18, 1984 and then later had a son Dustin Cooley. Jesse and Janie have spent 34 years together. Jesse enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, David Cooley, Marvin Cooley, James Cooley and Lloyd Cooley, sister, Carol Hughs, grandson, Michael McLlvee.
He is survived by his wife Linda Janie (Simpkins) Cooley of the home, three sons, Dustin Cooley of Clinton, AR; Jesse Cooley of Indiana; and Randy Cooley of Indiana; two daughters, Glenda McLlvee of Indiana; and Anita Vielma of Indiana; fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Vaids Stevens of Rogers, AR; and Joyce Weekley of Bluffton, IN; one aunt, and many neices, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be 11:00am and Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm Monday, November 24, 2014 at Immanuel Baptist Church Clinton, Arkansas with Pastor Mack Litaker and Allen Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Plant Cemetery.

I am so sorry for your loss. Though we didn't know each other very well, I knew from our visits that Jess was a good man! Take comfort in knowing he has gone to meet Jesus and you will be together again.
