Mrs. Hattie Lee Warren Curtis, 89, of Lamar, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Lamar. She was born December 5, 1924 in Ft. Douglas, AR to Paden and Jewel Christian Warren.
Hattie was a member of the Eastern Star, attended Salus Church and loved the Gaithers. She enjoyed sewing, and being outdoors, but she especially loved being in the mountains with her family, watching her grandsons, Austin and Josh play football and watching westerns. Hattie always had an open door for all.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Warren, her parents, Paden and Jewel Christian Warren; son, Carl Ray Warren; grandson, Donald Warren; brothers, Elva Warren, Jesse Warren, and Glen Warren. She is survived by her son, Lindell and Pam Warren of Amarillo, TX; daughter, Brenda Johnson of Clarksville; sisters, Jean and Floyd Lindsey and Betty and George Overbey; grandsons, Roger and Cheryl Ost, Russell and Lisa Warren, Tony and Gina Warren, Jarrett and Melissa Warren, Brian and Katie Hency, Joel and Michelle Warren; granddaughter, Shelby Johnson; great-grandchildren, Austin Hency, Josh Trammell, Cameron Warren, Chase Warren, Jackson Warren, Paden Warren, Eden Ost, Alexa Warren, Kaitilyn Warren, Bailey Warren, Berkley Warren, Abbie Warren, Hattie Melson; numerous nieces, nephews, great, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 7:00pm-8:00pm, Wednesday, November 19, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 10:00a.m. at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Boen officiating. Burial will be at Salus Cemetery. Rob Warren, Mike Felkins, John Warren, David Warren, Joey Warren, Pat Warren, Harold Lindsey and Darell Lindsey will serve as pall bearers.

Miss Hattie always had a tale to tell, usually funny, Lyndell was a cool guy, I did not know that Betty Overby was her sister. George was always a good friend as were his brother and sister. So sorry for for your loss my inlaws thought the world of Ray and Hattie. Carlynn - Sam Davis

Loved Ms Hattie! Wish I could have known her longer. I know everyone who knew her had a story, and most of them were hilarious. She was a special lady who will be greatly missed.
Sorry for your lost. Hatti was a wonderful person and a very good friend to me and my parents (John and Bob Davis). Remember Ray and her children. My prayers are with all of you.

I didn't spend a lot of time with "Granny" but she was always the nice to everyone she met.

Hattie was a good women and dear friend of mine for many, many years...she will be missed...
I'll see her again in the future...she is in a wonderful place with our Lord.
