Shirley Ann Rice Davenport, 71, of Paragould, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at her home. She was born December 23, 1942 to Everett and Wanda Rice Breckenridge. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Davenport; her parents; brothers, Max Rice, Tom Rice and Eddie Rice; a stepbrother, Lael Breckenridge; and two stepsisters, Gail Breckenridge and Carol Powell.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry Davenport of Brookland, Larry Davenport and Donald Davenport both of Paragould; three sisters, Glenda Lewis of TN, Vonda Bennett and Melba Moore both of Paragould; a stepbrother, Dennis Breckenridge of Beech Grove; six granddaughters, five grandsons, four great granddaughters, and six great grandsons.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Saturday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.
Chapel services will be 2 pm Sunday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with Charles Abanathy officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
