Elsie Mae Ashcraft, 85, of Alexander, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 25, 2014. She was born October 3, 1929 in Sheridan, Arkansas, to the late A.N. Ward and Thelma Dortch Ward. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. She was employed by the State Revenue Department. Mrs. Ashcraft was a member of Temple Baptist Church for almost 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carolyn Sue Ashcraft; and sister, Ethel Faye Torres.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey Ashcraft; daughters, Linda McGloflin (Joe) of Cabot; Diane Fischer (Billy) of Hensley; Peggy Cooper (Jerome) of Texarkana, six grandchildren, Patricia Staley (Jamie) of Crossett; Lisa Felling of Conway; Brad Fischer (Brandy) of Benton; Kimberly Burton (Eric) of North Little Rock; Sarah Cooper of Texarkana; Jessica McGinty (Jeremy) of Benton; 13 great-grandchildren, Abigail, Karis, Mary Katherine, Joshua, Brayden, Elijah, Braxton, Brodie, Brooklyn, Hannah, Jackson, Jordon, Bo; and sister, Louise Workman of Mabelvale.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at Temple Baptist Church, 10710 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800.

She was a very sweet person to care for and friendly to each of us who cared for her and would often tell us thank you for taking care of me. will remember you and your family in our prayers. as you lay this lovely lady to rest.
