June S. Caldwell Maner, 80, of Benton passed away October 25, 2014. She was born May 22, 1934 in Ogden, AR to the late Harold and Ninette Scholes. She was retired from Benton Public Schools after many years of loving service, a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and the Senior Ladies Bible Study.
She is preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Harry G. Caldwell, her parents, and her brothers, Bob and Harold Scholes.
She is survived by her husband, George W. Maner; son, Randy and wife Janette of Owensville; son, Glenn and wife Vicki of Lonsdale, son, Mike and wife Sharon of Springdale; son, Aaron and wife Cindy of Hot Springs; daughter, Donna Chastain and husband Kevin of Benton; stepson, George ''Sandy'' Maner of Hot Springs; stepdaughter, Becky Hill of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Niki Peacock and husband Vance, Loren Caldwell, Ashley White and husband Chet, Katie Billingsley and husband Keenan, Jesse Caldwell, Keeley Hensley and husband Jeff, Thommy Greer and wife Becka, Bryan Martin, Josh Reece and wife Susie, Jentri Jones and husband Steve, Tyler Caldwell and Heather, Tanner Caldwell, Spencer Chastain, Emily Chastain, Matt Maner, Jeff Maner, and Kory Hill, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (315-4047) with Bro. Kim Hammer officiating. Interment will follow at New Rosemont Memorial Park in Benton.
Serving as pallbearers are grandsons, Jesse Caldwell, Tyler Caldwell, Tanner Caldwell, Spencer Chastain, Josh Reece, Thommy Greer, Bryan Martin, Vance Peacock, Chet White, Keenan Billingsley, Jeff Hensley, and Steve Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Maner, Matt Maner, and Kory Hill.
A visitation is scheduled for Monday, October 27, 2014 at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian Community Care Clinic, 220 W. South St., Benton, AR 72015 or the American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Ave., Little Rock, AR 72207.
I have special memories of June from square dancing and just seeing her around town. She was always so friendly and of course, Vickie from Alcoa. I can only say good things about all of you. My prayers are with you all.
Aaron, Randy, and the rest of the Caldwells and Maners: So sorry that we just discovered Mrs. June's passing (Tuesday afternoon). I think the number of earlier entries attest to how well she was loved and appreciated by so many. May your faith and good memories sustain you during this difficult time.

She had a smile that made others feel loved and ‘at home’. She never hesitated to tell you how it was an honest and straight forward approach that all the Caldwell’s seem to have. I was blessed to grow up with her granddaughters and more recently to have been her neighbor these last few years. I am truly sorry for your family’s loss. She will be missed by so many. Caldwell Family, your Mom was one of those women who was "best friend" to so many people. Her beautiful smile and genuine laughter has left so many happy memories with those who loved her. I have so many good memories from many years ago to now of this beautiful lady. I am so glad that we had the pleasure of being cousins and that my Daddy always made sure that we visited. I loved June and she was always with a smile.

June was more than a sister in law to me...she was my SISTER. She was a big part of my life for 61 years. I love her dearly and will miss her greatly. Rest in peace, Sister.
