Dear Kenneth and Arlin. I just now found out about Rosa's passing. I feel so fortunate that as I was caring for Ross, I was able to drive her to see him and drive him to see her. She was such a wonderful woman. If we were driving to Batesville the next day, she would ALWAYS fix a wonderful home cooked meal WITH LOVE! We spent many hours over those years talking and sharing and being friends. After we went up to Batesville to sit with Ross while he passed, and we had the funeral, I lost touch with her. Her faith in God helped me during many dark days. She was an example of a real woman - she cooked, cleaned, and no matter what she was working on - she gave it her all. I feel blessed that I was able to spend quality time with her talking or doing, to help her and Ross stay close to the end, and to have a companion to travel AR with! She was so sweet and kind and I know that she loved her "boys" more than anything and only wanted each of you to be happy and loved. KR, I would STILL fight you for her scrumptious potato salad! 😘 My best to you both as well as Barbara and Waynette and all the grands, great-grands!!! She loved each of you with a special love that only a good woman, mother, friend, helper could do. I'm grateful for our connection. God Bless you all! Much love, Julia Marable

I have so many memories if Aunt Rosa. I was so shocked when I leared they were not "really" my aunt and uncle. Mother loved like a sister and I loved her, too.
My mother, Vada Lee Killion (1914-2012) also worked at the ordinance plant during the war. We are losing those hard-working women quickly it seems. My sympathies to the family.
