Toni, Erin, Lauren, and family,
There are no words to express how we feel about losing Doug physically. He will never be far away from all of you. He is forever with you in your hearts and memories. I lost my father when he was only 53, and my first words to my husband, who gave me the bad news, were
"What am I going to do?" I couldn't hardly breathe, and just sort of slumped to the floor.
All I can offer is our love and support, and if you ever want to just talk, we are here, any time. Love, Cecilia & family

In the brief time that Roy worked at Mayflower RV and beyond; our lives were greatly blessed by Doug AND his staff. Doug's ability to touch people with such kindness was astounding. I'm sure that his songs will bring comfort and peace to others, as it has to us, for a very long time. All of you remain in our prayers.

We met Doug in North Little Rock years back when he sang with The Arkansas Boys. My dad and mom, Wallace and Ruth Davis, pastored The Church of God Of Prophecy in North Little Rock. Doug felt at home in our church and our home, often singing with us and praising the Lord. Over the past two years we were able to reconnect with him and once again we began talking of how good God is and sharing music. We will miss him but look forward to seeing him soon as we gather together on the other side. Heaven will be one great Gospel Singing where we can Praise the Lord forevermore. Our prayers of sympathy go to his family.

Toni,
I have heard so many wonderful things about you and Doug through my daughter, Kim Fryer. When she told me about the funeral service for Doug, I cried.. I only wish I had known him. I know from the things I have heard that he was a genuine Christian man. He is singing with a new quartet now. May God give you comfort with the assurance that you will someday see Doug again.

I met Mr Doug when my gf and I came out to the RV Site, realizing that whoever owns this site must need help, so we came up to Mr Doug asking if he needed help to clean up. That was the first day our friendship started. We decided that were going to help clean up for him and we been out there for several months after. My heart and prayers go out to his family. Mr Doug was a very generous, honest, trusting man (and so much more). He spoke highly of his family quit often. I became very close to him. And will miss him dearly.

I know Doug is in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. I can't imagine the pain that you,Toni, and the Boydston family are going through. I continue to pray for you and the Boydston. I didn't know Doug that well but we would both be at some of the same political events, we have very similar political views. I enjoyed the conversations we had at "watch parties" and fund raising events. He is a true "Man's Man" and I will miss him very much.
