Yvonne Parr Campbell, 80, died peacefully at her home in Marion, AR on September 24, 2014. Born on January 23, 1934 to Dr. Gus and Marie Parr of New Albany, MS, Yvonne attended Mississippi State College for Women in Columbus, MS, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She taught school in New Albany, MS, Pittsburgh, PA and West Memphis, AR. She was an avid Bridge player for 58 years and had lived in Marion for 48 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Gus and Marie Parr of New Albany and three sons, Michael, David and Steven Campbell

She leaves her husband of 57 years, John D. Campbell; her son, Phil Campbell (wife Jennifer) of Marion; a sister Barbara Parr Doughty (husband Julian) of Tuscaloosa, AL; four grandchildren, John Wade Campbell and Parker Campbell of Jackson, TN and Tyler and Peyton Campbell of Marion; and three great granddaughters and one great grandson.

Visitation will be held at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis on Saturday, September 27 at 10 AM with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
